Feedback From COMMIT Campers And Staff

“This year I went to Camp Commit for the very first time. I had a blast!!!!! At first I was definitely not looking forward to it. I mean, I would be saying goodbye to my friends and family for an entire week in order to learn a few Bible lessons and make some crafts???? Well in the end I gave in, and boy I was glad. Camp Commit was one of the highlights of my summer! I made lots of new friends, met some very godly people, made some fantastic brownies, and most importantly, got closer to God. The week was the spiritual revival I needed. You cannot go to this camp without learning something awesome! As a group we were as far spread out as Redskins players in a football game. This camp brought us all together in ways you would never think possible. If you have doubts about going to Camp Commit, trust me: you won’t want to miss it.”

*Becca’s hesitation about coming to camp this year was a common feeling among the girls. Many of them just weren’t so sure about this ‘homemaking training stuff’, but it was really neat to see them come to understand the awesome blessings of biblical womanhood. Like Becca said, the girls came from so many different backgrounds, and some of them were hearing these things for the first time. That was one of the most rewarding things for me, as a staff member – seeing the light in the girls’ faces as they soaked in the truth about God’s design for women and observing the visible change it brought about in their lives.

Thank you, Rebecca, for giving Camp COMMIT a chance, and for seeking earnestly after the things of God!

“I so enjoyed camp this year- it was a wonderful experience! The feeling thoughout the entire week was one of love, encouragement and christian fellowship. I learned so much about purity and how what we do now effects the rest of our lives. Thank you to all the staff for all their hard work and for caring so much for each of the young ladies! So many lives were touched and inspired and I believe God will use the the experience to work in each of the girls’ hearts. I am already praying for next year!”
